Defining a model of CALL
The Design of a CALL Program
According to Levy (1997) These include theories of instruction, theories of learning, curriculum imperatives, experiments with new technology, exercise types, learning problems, language skills and the delivery of materials to a large number of students.
Elements in the CALL design process
These are:
- Hardware
- Software
- The Internet and Email
- Authoring Packages
Activities used in CALL
The relevant activities are:
Locus on Control:
Locus of control refers to the continuum between the program’s and the learner’s responsibility for decisions about the sequence and outcomes of learning, learner interactions and, even, the content of what is taught.
Observable changes in pupil behaviour:
CALL essentially presents different kinds of language-learning opportunities from those available in a traditional classroom.

Knowing about this tool its benefits to be able to use and what type of activities is very useful since this will give us optimal results with our students
ResponderEliminarI just found interesting the elements of CALL becuase the word software involves programs and apps from computers as well as technological devices, which means learning even with a smartphone.
